The large windows offer magnificent views in every direction, and you can smell the fresh scent of the lake and forest. The cabin of the boat is like a living room on the waves. With a little luck, you may even see the rare Saimaa ringed seal.

The Ekopaatti is weatherproof, with cabins that protect against wind and rain. There are a few blankets for those who feel cold
The eco-boat is safe and equipped with life jackets and the necessary safety equipment. There are also life jackets for children. If you are bringing several children, please let us know their sizes in advance so that the guide can bring life jackets of the right size for everyone.
The trip operates in almost all weather conditions. If there is a thunderstorm, we will wait at the pier for it to pass.
You can buy seal-themed souvenirs on the boat (soft toys, magnets, etc.). Payment can be made in cash or by card.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When is the best time to see Saimaa ringed seals? The best time is in May and early June, about five weeks after the ice has melted, when the seals are basking on the rocks, molting. At other times, the seals are usually in the water, but with a little luck, you can see them at any time.
Where does the boat depart from? From the pier at the harbor in downtown Puumala, in front of the SALE store, address: Satamatie, 52200 Puumala.
Can I reserve just one spot? No. Private tours are intended for groups of 6-10 people, and the minimum charge is always for 6 people.
What if it rains? No problem. The eco-boat is weatherproof, and the cabin protects you from wind and rain.
Are there life jackets on the boat? Yes. The eco-boat is safe and equipped with life jackets and other necessary safety equipment. There are also life jackets for children. If you have several children with you, please let us know their sizes in advance so that the guide can bring life jackets of the right size for everyone.
Can I bring my pet on board? Unfortunately, no. We love animals, but the boat has carpeted floors and your pet may cause allergy risks to other customers during the summer. Therefore, pets are not allowed on the Ekopaatti.
When will my reservation be confirmed? After making your reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation email with instructions on the departure point. If you think you have made a reservation but have not received a confirmation email, please contact sales@lakelandgte.fi (this is usually due to an incorrect email address or the internet connection being disconnected after payment before the payment confirmation has been sent to the online store).
How do I pay for the trip? You can pay in the online store with Mobilepay, credit cards, bank IDs, and Alipay. The trip is paid for at the time of booking.
Do I need to book the trip in advance? Yes.
Do I need cash if I want to buy souvenirs on the boat? No. You can also pay for souvenirs by card.
